# New Equipment Arriving in Spring 2025

We're thrilled to announce a major upgrade to our equipment lineup coming this spring! Thanks to generous support from our members and community partners, we've been able to invest in cutting-edge technology that will expand our capabilities and create new opportunities for making.

What's Coming

Advanced Laser Cutting System

Our new high-precision laser cutter features a larger bed size, more powerful laser, and enhanced control software. This will allow for more detailed projects, faster cutting times, and the ability to work with a wider range of materials.

Industrial 3D Printers

We're adding two new industrial-grade 3D printers to our fabrication lab:

• A large-format FDM printer with a build volume of 300x300x400mm
• A high-resolution resin printer perfect for detailed models and prototypes

CNC Router Upgrade

Our CNC router is getting a complete overhaul with a new control system, more powerful spindle, and improved dust collection. This will make it more user-friendly and capable of handling more complex projects.

Training Sessions

We'll be hosting a series of training sessions in April and May to familiarize members with the new equipment. These sessions will cover safety procedures, basic operation, and advanced techniques.

Impact on Membership

This equipment expansion means we'll be able to offer more workshops, accommodate more members during peak hours, and support more ambitious projects. We're excited to see what our community will create with these new tools!
